An experience we’ll never forget 🇮🇹☕️
While in Florence, we had the incredible opportunity to visit the Accademia del Caffè Espresso — home to the La Marzocco museum and training center, the same company behind the espresso machine we proudly use every day at Camino Coffee Mill.
Getting to see the history, craftsmanship, innovation, and passion behind one of the most respected names in espresso was truly inspiring. From the evolution of espresso culture to the precision and care that goes into every machine, it gave us a whole new appreciation for the art of coffee.
We’re coming back to the States with a wealth of knowledge, fresh inspiration, and new ideas that we can’t wait to implement to better serve our community back home. This trip reminded us that great coffee is about so much more than just the drink itself — it’s about hospitality, tradition, quality, and creating experiences for people, especially the community.

We’re honored to share that owner and operator, Christian Collins has been named Outstanding Community Member from the El Dorado County School Boards Association for the Camino District.
With roots in Shingle Springs and deep family ties in Camino and Pollock Pines for over 50 years, Christian alongside his wife, Lexi, has built @thecaminocoffeemill and @sierrataphouseandpizza around what the community truly wants: great food, great people, and a place to connect.
Camino Coffee Mill was created to feel like home—welcoming, familiar, and rooted in the history of that built Camino (the Mill). But what truly brings it to life are the incredible young people who show up every day, work hard, and care about every customer who walks through the door.
We’re beyond grateful for our team and for this community that continues to support us. This means everything 🤍
